Without Harden, Rockets Put Together A Total Team Win Over Warriors

The Houston Rockets were without James Harden Saturday night but manufactured a big time win over the Golden State Warriors, 118-112.

Harden sat out due to an illness and a strained neck which set the stage for Chris Paul. Paul scored 23 points with a season high 17 assists. CP3 surpassed 9,000 assists in his NBA career.

Along with Paul, the Rockets had contributions from just about everyone that stepped onto the floor: Eric Gordon 25 points, Kenneth Faried 20 points and 10 rebounds, PJ Tucker 18 points and 10 rebounds, Clint Capela 8 points and 15 rebounds, Gerald Green off the bench with 10 points.

Houston out-rebounded the Warriors 48-26 in the win.

The Rockets return home to host the Atlanta Hawks Monday night at 7pm.
