Rockets Erase 21 Point Deficit, Beat Lakers in OT

For the second consecutive game, the Houston Rockets found themselves in overtime as they battled the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night.

The Rockets trailed most of the game, being down 21 at one point. But, the team erased that mark and beat the Lakers, 138-134.

James Harden scored 48 points to continue his cheat-code-like play. Harden has had 40 points in 10 out of the last 13 games and extends his 30 point streak to 19 straight.

Eric Gordon added 30 points as he knocked down a game tying three with two seconds remaining in regulation that eventually sent the game to OT. Gordon made four free throws late in overtime to ice the win for Houston.

Along with Gordon, James Ennis III added big time points for the Rockets, scoring 18. Gerald Green came off the bench to chip in 17 points.

The Rockets will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers Monday night at 7:00pm CT.
