The famous shortstop and his fiancée will get hitched this December. Rodriguez reigned as Miss Teen Texas 2013 and Miss Texas 2016. Charlise Springer

If you frequent Houston’s fitness circuit, you might know this familiar face. Charlise Springer, formerly Castro, is a fitness instructor at Sweat 1000 in the Heights. Before becoming H-town’s source for fit-spiration, she was a Division I athlete and an Olympic level softball player. The star athlete was born in Saugertise, New York, and played for the University of Albany and Puerto Rico’s national team. George Springer said “I do” to Castro in 2018 at The Resort at Pelican Hill in California.
