Astros Drop Game 5 in New York, Still Lead ALCS 3-2; Game 6 in Houston

The Astros fell to the Yankees on Friday night 4-1 in ALCS Game 5 at Yankee Stadium. In a game where Justin Verlander struggled in the 1st inning allowing four runs, he settled down after that and gave the Astros seven strong innings. Unfortunately, the Astros bats struggled against James Paxton, scratching across only one run in the 1st inning.

The Astros still lead the series 3-2, and will return home to Houston for Game 6 on Saturday night, which can be heard on SportsTalk790.

  • Yordan Alvarez, who has struggled mightily this series, will still DH and bat 7th in the order
