The Houston Astros Are Headed Back to the World Series!!

After a hard fought ALCS Game 6, the Houston Astros are headed back to the World Series. Using a bullpen approach in this one, the Astros got some big outs from a mix of relievers, and some big defensive plays from the outfield.

Yuli Gurriel set the tone offensively with a 1st inning three-run homerun to give Houston the early lead. But perhaps the highlight of the night was in the top of the 7th as Michael Brantley made a diving catch in left field to rob Aaron Hicks of a hit and got the double play throwing out Aaron Judge at first base.

In the bottom of the 9th, DJ LeMahieu hit a game tying two-run homer off Roberto Osuna to tie things up. But in the bottom of the 9th with two outs, Jose Altuve hit a walkoff two-run to win in 6-4.

The Astros will host the Washington Nationals for Game 1 of the World Series starting on Tuesday night. Hear all of the action on your home for Astros baseball, SportsTalk790!
