Harden Drops 37 as Rockets Beat Knicks 123-112

James Harden scored 37 points as the Rockets went on to beat the New York Knicks Monday night, 123-112. Harden also had nine assists and six rebounds to go along with 37 points.

Along with Harden, Russell Westbrook and PJ Tucket flew into Houston and arrived at the Toyota Center 70 minutes before tip-off after taking part in Kobe and Gianna Bryant's celebration of life ceremony in Los Angeles. Westbrook did not play due to a sore thumb.

Eric Gordon had 16 points, Robert Covington scored 11 points with seven rebounds and Danuel House added 10 points and five rebounds. Ben McLemore came off the bench with 17 along with Austin Rivers who had 14 points.

Houston shot 50% from the field in the victory.

The Rockets improve to 37-20 and will take on the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
