It felt like this is coming and it officially has as Justin Verlander has agreed to a deal with the New York Mets. After joining the Astros at the end of August in 2017, Verlander leaves Houston with two World Series rings and two AL Cy Young awards. Overall in Houston he compiled regular season stats of 102 with a record of 61-19 and a 2.26 ERA.
