According to media reports, it appears Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is out of the Houston Texans coaching search.
If other reports are correct, it would appear the Texans two remaining finalists are former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores and former journeyman quarterback Josh McCown.
If the Texans hire Josh McCown as their next head coach, it would mark one of the most inexperienced coaching resumes in the history of NFL coaching hires.
