As we closed the book on the regular season, and your Houston Astros finished with a 106-56 record, second most wins in a single season in franchise history, they secured the top record in the American League.
But we couldn't help but remember back in the summer when everyone was riding the Yankees bandwagon, and this gem was tweeted:
SPOILER ALERT: The Yankees didn't even get to 100 wins. That's right, they finished with 99 wins after losing to the Rangers in their final game of the regular season, 4-2.
And like many years recently, the AL pennant runs through Houston.
