There’s a Glaring Omission in MLB’s Top 10 Potential First-Time MVP List

A writer by the name of Will Leitch wrote a piece this week for MLB.com titled “Ranking 10 Potential First-Time MVP Winners.” There’s some good names on the list like Ronald Acuna Jr, Vlad Guerrero Jr and Matt Chapman.

But there is one glaring omission that was left off the list - Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez. Alvarez is batting .293 with 12 HRs, 46 RBI and 26 walks this season with a .405 OBP. He is seventh in the league in on base percentage and fourth in slugging percentage, not to mention one of the most feared hitters in all of baseball. How you leave Yordan off your list?!?
