Astros GM Dana Brown spoke with reporters on Wednesday, and said the team does not have a timeframe on finding their next manager. He said they're not going to rush things, as they collect names and go through the process.
Brown also said there has been a ton of interest in the Astros open position, and said he's looking for someone he can "gel with and communicate well with." Brown said the team has not begun interviewing any candidates yet.
As MLB heads towards the offseason, free agency will begin five days after the World Series concludes, while MLB GM meetings will be held in Arizona starting on November 7th.
