According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Astros GM Dana Brown is pushing for bench coach Joe Espada to be the next Astros manager.
From Bob's story posted on Sunday surrounding the upcoming GM meetings, he writes:
Houston Astros GM Dana Brown is pushing for bench coach Joe Espada to be promoted as manager to replace Dusty Baker.
Espada is still considered the Vegas favorite to be the next Astros manager, but the Astros have said they are going to take their time and not rush the process.
