Report: Astros Making a Push for Reliever Josh Hader

According to report from The Athletic, the Houston Astros are trying to add free agent reliever Josh Hader. Ken Rosenthal and Chandler Rome report that the Astros could add Hader but the price would not be cheap - he's been looking for a contract in the territory of Edwin Diaz's five-year $102 million deal.

The Astros certainly need some more reliable arms in the bullpen, but this move would see a bit extreme considering they already have a very reliable closer in Ryan Pressly.

And if they choose to spend that kind of money on Hader, what would that mean for future contracts for Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker?
