HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return to Minute Maid Park to finish off the first half of the 2024 regular season as they welcome the Miami Marlins, July 9-11 and the Texas Rangers, July 12-14.
The Astros will play the series opener with the Miami Marlins tonight, July 9 at 7:10 p.m. CT as scheduled. Fans are encouraged to exercise caution when driving to and from the ballpark as clean up from Hurricane Beryl is still in process. Fans will be welcomed to the game tonight at Minute Maid Park with air conditioning and all the usual amenities. Tonight is also Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company.

Highlights of the homestand include multiple bobblehead giveaways, Stranger Things Night and 713 Day. On the field, the homestand ends with the Silver Boot Series, presented by the Texas Lottery, as the Astros host the rival Texas Rangers in a three-game series with big implications for the AL West division race at the halfway point of the season.
Single-game tickets are available for purchase for the homestand, along with a variety of Flex Plan options. The Astros open up a three-game series with the Marlins on Tuesday at 7:10 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on Space City Home Network, with English radio on KBME 790/KTRH 740 and Spanish radio on TUDN 93.3 FM.
Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.
Missouri City native and Texas A&M alum, Jake Matthews, offensive tackle for the Atlanta Falcons who is entering his 11th season in the NFL in 2024 will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
The National Anthem will be performed by the St. John Vianney Choir.
The Astros will also celebrate the 6A State Champion Lady Panthers softball team from Weslaco, Texas in an in-game ceremony.
