Newest Texas Ranger signee Joc Pederson wasted no time in firing up the Silver Boot Rivalry between the Astros and the Rangers. At his introductory press conference this week, Pederson talked about the AL West saying: "We played the Astros in the World Series. They've put together a nice little run. It's coming to an end. It's time for us to take over the West."
The Astros have won the AL West four straight years, and 7 of the past 8 seasons. The Astros will next face the Rangers on May 15th in Arlington next season.
