Astros Place Brandon Walter on IL with Elbow Inflammation

The Astros have placed LHP Brandon Walter on the 15-day IL due to left elbow inflammation (retro 7/24)...to take his place on the active roster, Houston has recalled RHP Nick Hernandez. 

The Astros have claimed IF Logan Davidson off waivers from the Athletics and optioned him to Triple A Sugar Land...to make room for Davidson on the 40-man roster, the Astros have designated RHP Nick Robertson for assignment.
