Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt is starting up the trash talk online ahead of Saturday night's matchup between Tech and the University of Houston.
Hocutt took to Twitter, saying Saturday night's game is going to be a "home game" for the Red Raiders, calling it their "eighth home game this season."
He went on to say "Houston is West Texas."
Tech won the last matchup in 2023, with Tech having won six in a row. However, UH leads the all time series 18-16-1.
