According to Chandler Rome of The Athletic, the Houston Astros are trading pitcher Lance McCullers Jr to the Milwaukee Brewers. McCullers was in the last year of his five-year, $85 million extension he signed several years ago.
The 32-year old was selected by the Astros 41st overall in the 2012 MLB Draft, making his big league debut in 2015. McCullers was an All-Star 2017, and part of both Astros World Series teams in 2017 and 2022.
