Chris Gordy and Dan Mathews were down in Tampa all week for SEC Football Media Days 2026, catching up with a number of players, coaches and media members. Catch up on some of our interviews including ESPN broadcaster Jordan Rodgers, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer, LSU LB Whit Weeks, Ole Miss RB Kewan Lacy, Kentucky head coach Will Stein, Oklahoma DL Taylor Wein, Auburn DB Champ Anthony, Georgia LB Raylen Wilson, Arkansas OL Caden Kitler, and Mississippi State DB Kelley Jones.
The media voted Georgia and Texas to play for the SEC Championship, with Georgia winning the conference. Ole Miss was picked to finish 3rd, the Texas A&M Aggies were picked to finish 4th, and LSU finishing 5th.
As for the media's All-SEC Team, making the First-Team offense were Texas WR Cam Coleman, OT Trevor Goosby, A&M All-Purpose Mario Craver, while the First-Team defense included Texas Edge Colin Simmons, Texas LB Rasheem Biles, and LSU LB Whit Weeks. On the Second-Team, it was Texas QB Arch Manning, A&M WR Mario Craver, A&M Center Mark Nabou, and Texas All-Purpose Ryan Niblett.
