Sources: Texans sign guard Danny Isidora

The Texans have signed veteran offensive guard Danny Isidora to a one-year contract, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.

The Texans previously brought in former Kansas City Chiefs center Austin Reiter for a workout and have maintained a dialogue with him, per sources. Reiter visited the New York Giants on Saturday.

Isidora, 27, is a former Minnesota Vikings fifth-round draft pick from the University of Miami. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Isidora (6-foot-3, 306 pounds) has bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times and run the 40-yard dash in 5.03 seconds.

Isidora has started six of 25 career games played.
