Report: Rockets Adding Dorian Finney-Smith & Clint Capela in Free Agency

The Houston Rockets are making some major additions to their roster. As we wait for the Kevin Durant trade to become official in a week, the Rockets are adding two big pieces in free agency according to reports.

Shams Charania reports the Rockets are adding free agent forward Dorian Finney-Smith to a four-year, $53 million deal with Houston. Charania says it is a major acquisition to bolster the Rockets' wing depth with Finney-Smith who shot a career-high 41% from 3-point land and held All-Star players to 47% effective shooting in halfcourt.

In addition, the Rockets are reportedly bringing back center Clint Capela on a three-year, $21.5 million deal. Capela was a 2014 draft pick of the Rockets and played in Houston from 2014-2020. Capela spent the past five seasons in Atlanta, averaging 8.9 points and 8.5 rebounds last season.
