Roady weary, the Astros snuck one out on Thursday in the rubber match against the Angels. The bats looked like they were destined for a big night in the first where they put up two runs, but things would change drastically as the game moved on. It took ten innings, but the offense squeaked out just enough to secure the 3-2 win.
The biggest note of the night came from Jose Altuve who exited the game after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. The club heads home now, with a scheduled landing back in Houston at 5am. They will be right back in action tomorrow night at Minute Maid Park for the first of three against the Oakland A’s.
