White Sox reliever Keynan Middleton is an unknown pitcher to even the most diehard baseball fans. After spending years in the AL West with the Angels, he is now in Chicago where he is teammates with the biggest fake tough guy in the sport, Joe Kelly. Well yesterday Middleton struck out Carlos Correa and took the opportunity to talk about it after the game, taking shots at Correa.
This is the world we still live in. Even after all these years and all of the stuff we have learned about what has gone on in the sport, you still have ding dongs out there like this that just want to create headlines. It is what it is at this point and you simply have to feel bad for people like this that simply cannot move on from it.
To make this even better, Middleton is a guy that pitched for the Angels like I mentioned and found himself caught right in the middle of the sticky substance drama they were involved with. Middleton was one of the players named by a former Angels employee that listed all the players he had helped with a sticky substance they would use on the baseball. As they say, don't throw stones in a glass house.
