Joe Cowart of SportsRadio 1010XL in Jacksonville joins Next Up to preview the NFL Week 4 matchup between the Houston Texans and the Jaguars. The AFC South rivals are both coming off losses in Week 3, and the Jaguars are still searching for their first win of the season.
The Jaguars offense struggled in a 47-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence was sacked four times. "There are questions everywhere," and the offensive line "is letting [Lawrence] down," Cowart said. "Doug Pederson could be in a great deal of trouble" if the Jaugars go 0-4.
However, the Minnesota Vikings held the Texans to only seven points last Sunday, and C.J. Stroud went 20 for 31 for 215 yards. Running back Joe Mixon did not play against the Vikings and has been limited in practice this week, so the Jaguars defense could take advantage of Mixon's absence and eliminate the Texans run game.
