Buster Olney of ESPN just dropped a piece on their website talking about Dodgers' reliever Joe Kelly sounding off about the Astros' players who "snitched like little bitches" this past winter as part of the sign stealing investigation.
Here is one part of the piece with quotes from Joe Kelly
"The people who took the fall for what happened is nonsense," Kelly said. "Yes, everyone is involved. But the way that (sign-stealing system) was run over there was not from coaching staff. ... They're not the head boss in charge of that thing. It's the players. So now the players get the immunity, and all they do is go snitch like a little bitch, and they don't have to get fined, they don't have to lose games."
Joe Kelly just had his suspension reduced from 8 to 5 games after he threw at Astros' hitters Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman. This podcast with teammate Ross Stripling was taped before his appeal was heard and reduced.
He also said he will always be irritated by the fact that the Astros "snitched" and cost former Astros' GM Jeff Luhnow, former Astros' manager AJ Hinch, former Red Sox' manager Alex Cora and former Mets' manager Carlos Beltran their jobs.
