Here is the latest on the Central Texas floods, updated as developments come in.

Friday, 12:20pm: President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump has arrived in Kerrville Texas aboard Air Force One. He's set to spend the day surveying the damage and response. Texas Senator John Cornyn is expected to join him.

Friday, 4:00am: Search operations continue. The statewide death toll remains at 120, with around 170 people still unaccounted for.

Thursday, 4:30pm: Governor Greg Abbott today directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to request additional counties be added to President Trump’s Major Disaster Declaration for recent catastrophic flooding that began impacting the state last week. Five counties – Burnet, San Saba, Tom Green, Travis, and Williamson – are requested to be eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Individual Assistance programs, and four counties – Kendall, Kimble, Menard, and San Saba – are requested to be eligible for FEMA’s Public Assistance Program.

Thursday, 10:00am: Officials confirmed during a 10:00am press conference that the death toll in Kerr County has risen to 96, including 60 adults, and 36 children. This brings the total deaths in the Hill Country to over 120 persons.

Authorities say there are still 150 people missing.

Thursday, 4:01am: The death toll in the Central Texas Flood is up to 120. More than 160 are still missing. And there are now questions as to why a 'CodeRED,' called for by first responders last Friday at 4:22am, was not issued until more than 90 minutes later.

Wednesday, 10:00am: The death toll still stands at at least 119 people across a six county area in the Texas hill country. 95 of those victims come from Kerr County. There are still at least 161 people missing, including 5 Camp Mystic Campers, and one Mystic Counselor.

Volunteers and first responders continue to work diligently, searching, and then clearing debris. Officials are urging anyone not involved in these efforts to avoid the area.

Wednesday, 5:10am: The death toll has risen to at least 111, with at least 173 people missing.

Wednesday, 3:49am: Search operations are now in a sixth day in the Hill Country. The death toll is at least 110, with 161 people still unaccounted for. We also now know that Camp Mystic's emergency plans were approved by state inspectors just two days before the floods came.

Tuesday, 3:47pm: Governor Greg Abbott has announced that 109 people have died in the Central Texas floods. That is more than the number of people that died in Harvey's flooding in 2017. There are also 161 people missing. That number includes at least five children and a counselor from Camp Mystic. Another child not associated with that camp is also missing.

Tuesday, 10:00am: The death toll has now risen to 108. Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha confirmed at a press conference this morning that 87 deceased have been recovered, including 30 children. He added that "at present, five Camp Mystic campers and one counselor still remain unaccounted for.”

Tuesday, 3:42am: Tuesday is Day 5 of the search for victims of the Hill Country flooding that has killed more than 100 people, including 28 children.

5:00pm: The Texas death toll has surpassed 100, as Kerr County says it has lost 84 lives in the flooding.

3:00pm: The death toll in Kendall County has risen from 2 to 6, which puts the total death toll statewide from the floods at over 90.

12:00pm: At least 90 people total where killed in the independence day flooding. There where 75 victims in Kerr County, 6 in Travis County, 2 in Williamson County, 2 in Kendall County, 4in Burnet County, and 1 victim in Tom Green County.

10:16am: Officials in Kerr County say they have recovered more than 70 bodies in the flooding. The statewide death toll is more than 80. There are sill several people missing both in Kerr County and statewide.

6:41am: On it's website, Camp Mystic confirmed that lost 27 kids and counselors in the flooding. They wrote, "Camp Mystic is grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors following the catastrophic flooding on the Guadalupe river. Our hearts are broken alongside our families that are enduring this unimaginable tragedy. We are praying for them constantly. We have been in communication with local and state authorities who are tirelessly deploying extensive resources to search for our missing girls. A Flood Watch is in effect for the region until 7pm.

Monday, 3:59am: Officials now say the death toll in the flooding disaster is at least 82. Twenty-eight of the dead are children. Dozens are still missing, including ten kids from Camp Mystic and one counselor.

3:48pm: Officials in Kerr County say the death toll there has risen to 68. Forty of the dead are adults, 28 are children. With the other ten dead across Central Texas, the death toll is approaching 80. Ten kids from Camp Mystic remain missing, plus one counselor.

3:29pm: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Kerr County until 6:30pm.

3:04pm: Governor Greg Abbott has announced that in addition to the 59 dead in Kerr County, ten others in Central Texas have died. That brings the total of dead to 69. Statewide, 41 people are missing.

12:14pm: President Trump has approved a major disaster declaration for Texas. Governor Greg Abbott will update the situation at 2:30pm. Kerr County officials will hold another news conference at 3pm.

11:40am: The total death toll between Kerr, Travis, and Burnet Counties in the Central Texas Floods is now at 71. Three people are missing from Williamson County.

10:15am: Officials in Kerr County have just announced that 59 people have died in the flooding. 38 of those are adults, and 21 are children. Eleven campers from Camp Mystic remain missing, plus one counselor.

6:03am: The death toll has now surpassed 50 from the Central Texas floods. Officials will provide an update at 10am.

3:01am: Governor Greg Abbott declares Sunday, July 6 a Day of Prayer for Texans affected by the devastating floods in Central Texas.

Sunday, 2:28am: The death toll statewide has risen to at least 47. A televised report indicates that 19 of the missing are from the Houston area.

6:05pm: Officials in Kerr County now say 43 peoples have died in the floods. That number includes 15 children.

3:42pm: The death toll in the Texas floods has risen to at least 32. Officials say 18 are adults, and 14 are children,

3:29pm: DHS Secretary Kristi Noem says President Trump and the First Lady are devastated by the flooding tragedy in Central Texas. Governor Greg Abbott says they will be "relentless" in searching for victims of the floods.

3:04pm: We are waiting for Governor Greg Abbott, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, Senator John Cornyn, and other officials to give an update on the Central Texas flooding.

1:42pm: Two people have been killed, and ten others are missing in flooding that hit Travis County on Saturday. Another two people were confirmed killed in Burnet County.

Original story: We now know that there are at least 27 dead from the catastrophic flooding in Central Texas. That number includes nine children.

Dozens are also missing from a Christian Camp. Reports say twelve of those girls are from the Houston area.

And now there are new concerns in several other portions of Central Texas.

First responders across Central Texas spent the early part of Saturday scrambling to rescue dozens of people from rising floodwaters, primarily in Burnet County along with western Travis and Williamson counties. A strong thunderstorm Seguin has been producing rates of rain at five inches an hour. Heavy rain is also hitting New Braunfels and San Marcos. Governor Greg Abbott will provide an update at 2:30pm this afternoon.

But we are learning about one of the missing girls from the Houston area. Reese Manchaca is a recent graduate of Caney Creek High School.
