Floyd Mayweather Puts The Final Nail In Boxing's Coffin

Well it's official. Boxing is dead and Mayweather just put the last nail in the coffin. Now, it's not like we didn't know that it was rigged. Just, nobody had actually come out and said it. Until now that is. Floyd openly admitting that it was a fake fight is the last thing that boxing needed or wanted. The thing that makes it worse is that he's laughing about it. And it's not like he was ever the best at the sport either. Floyd was just a glorified track star. So when the guy who's not even the best to ever do it, is openly laughing about taking money from a "fake" fight, then your sport is dead and buried.

Now, for the most part, no one will ever take the sport seriously again. Boxing will never be what it used to be. At least with other sports, they adjust and evolve and find a way to survive. Boxing on the other hand is dying a slow painful death.

If you watch and enjoy boxing in its current state, then you have no right to ever make fun of professional wrestling.
