Chandler Rome on Peña’s Injury, How Astros Rotation Could Take Shape
Friday on The A-Team with Adam Clanton and Adam Wexler, The Athletic’s Chandler Rome shared the latest on Jeremy Peña’s hand injury and said he hopes to play tomorrow. Rome expects Mike Burrows to rejoin the rotation in New York as the Astros begin a stretch of 13 straight games, potentially leading to a six-man rotation.
He also believes Peter Lambert is showing signs of fatigue after a career-high workload, though it’s not necessarily cause for alarm—and the Astros can’t afford to limit him much right now.
