Carlos Sainz and his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc appear to be back on top after a disappointing Austrian Grand Prix as they dominated both Free Practices. In FP1, Charles Leclerc was a whopping 0.91 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. It seems that Ferrari continues to have the best pace on the grid but can their power unit hold up? In the last race at Austria, the team was in prime position make up some serious ground in the constructers championship on Red Bull as they were 1-2 for most of the race but a massive engine failure ended the day of Carlos Sainz. In an effort to combat this, the team implemented a new engine element. This will mean he will have a ten spot grid penalty when the race starts. Luckily for Sainz, the changes to the car really must of helped as he went to the top of the board in FP2. Come Sunday, it will be fun watching him drive through the field with his newer fresher power unit.
