Brian Kelly just left Notre Dame. Literally, on Monday morning, he was still the head coach of the Notre Dame football program. By Monday afternoon however, he was moving on to greener pastures, and maybe swamps, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the home of LSU.
Somewhere in the last couple days, Brian Kelly decided to really embrace the southern culture in Louisiana by developing the best southern accent you've heard.
Amazing. Let's just listen in on one part specifically.
Bravo Brian Kelly. Way to embrace your southern roots that you gained just four days ago. I can't wait until you start calling The Civil War "The War of Northern Aggression."
Your accent is a lie Brian. Same as the lies you said to recruits trying to bring them to Notre Dame. Same as the lies you've spilled to previous recruits over the years. One of them being Houston legend JJ Watt.
I for one am excited to see what happens next. I'm more excited to hear how Brian Kelly sounds on the sidelines next year.
A word of advice Brian, don't go lying about someone's bowl of gumbo while you're down in Louisiana.
