HOUSTON, TX – The Astros top two prospects, right-handed pitcher Forrest Whitley and outfielder Kyle Tucker, will be the guests on Astroline this Thursday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. CT. Whitley will be the live guest at Astroline, while Tucker will join the show via phone for the final segment. Astros television broadcaster Todd Kalas and Astros radio broadcaster Robert Ford will serve as the hosts.
Astroline, which is presented by Karbach Brewing Co., will air on the Astros Radio Network, the Astros flagship station KBME SportsTalk 790 AM, 94.5 FM HD-2 and will be available online at Astros.com/Podcasts following the broadcast. All shows are scheduled to broadcast on KBME SportsTalk 790, but are subject to change due to scheduling conflicts. Astroline broadcasts live, weekly from 6-7 p.m. CT during the offseason.

For the sixth consecutive season, Astroline airs from Pluckers Wing Bar, which is located at 1400 Shepherd Dr., Houston, Texas, 77007. Whitley, who is ranked by MLB.com as the No. 8 overall prospect in baseball, had a dominant performance in the 2018 Arizona Fall League, recording 36 strikeouts over 26.0 total innings pitched. He led all Fall League pitchers in innings and finished with a 2.42 ERA. Whitley was selected to the 2018 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game during the regular season, as he went 0-2 with a 3.76 ERA (11ER/26.1IP) and 34 strikeouts in eight starts for Double A Corpus Christi.
Tucker made his Major League debut with Houston in 2018, playing in 28 games. He was named the Astros Minor League Player of the Year for the second consecutive season after hitting .332 with 27 doubles, three triples, 24 home runs and 93 RBI in 100 games with the Triple A Fresno Grizzlies.
