After coming close the past two years in the postseason, many thought the Houston Rockets could just stand pat in free agency this year and try to "run it back" with the same roster. They will not.
The Rockets made a huge splash on Thursday night, trading a package for Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and 2017 MVP Russell Westbrook. The package includes star point guard Chris Paul, as well as several first round picks, including several future swaps.
The move reunites Harden with his former teammate in Westbrook, with both players winning the league's MVP award in back-to-back years in 2017 & 2018.
