The MLB is suspending Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick for two games following the collision at home plate with Los Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy on Sunday.
The game was tied 10-10 at the bottom of the 8th Inning when Marisnick crashed full speed into Lucroy while attempting to score on a sac fly. The catcher suffered a concussion and a broken nose from the incident.
The two-game suspension begins Thursday as the Astros face the Rangers.
