In an article at The Athletic, Jim Bowden made contract projections for top 35 free agents hitting the market this MLB offseason. Among them, the top is Gerrit Cole, whom Bowden projects to get an eight year, $288 million contract, making him far and away the highest paid pitcher in all of baseball.
Bowden lists possible destinations for Cole as the Angels, Yankees, Dodgers, & Giants.
