Texans head coach and GM Bill O'Brien spoke with the media on Thursday for the first time since the team traded away franchise wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Among the questions asked, O'Brien stressed he thought it was the best move for the team to trade away Hopkins. As for the value of the return in the trade, O'Brien said it all has to play out years from now to see what the ultimate vision of the trade was.
In addition, O'Brien said the team continues to work on a long term contract with left tackle Laremy Tunsil, and also said running back David Johnson passed his team physical with flying colors.
