HOUSTON, TX -- The Astros will travel to Kansas City next week to play two exhibition games vs. the Royals on July 20-21 at Kauffman Stadium. The Monday, July 20 game will have a 7:05 p.m. CT start while the Tuesday, July 21 game will start at 1:05 p.m. CT.

The games will be a tune-up for the start of the Astros 2020 regular season, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, July 24 vs. the Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park. The season opener will be the first game of a six-game homestand for Houston during which they will host Seattle (4g, 7/24-27) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (2g, 7/28-29). All clubs will play 60 regular season games as part of the revised MLB schedule.
