The Astros bats were hot for a second straight day, and Lance McCullers was pretty solid as Houston improved to 2-0 on the young shortened season with a 7-2 victory over the Mariners on Saturday.

McCullers was a bit erratic early but took advantage of a couple of double plays to get out of trouble. McCullers finished pitching six innings allowing two runs off five hits to go with six strikeouts.
Offensively, every Astros hitter had a hit, while Yuli Gurriel and George Springer hit their first homerun of the season.
