According to reports, Oakland A’s pitcher Mike Fiers will start the season on the injured list, and will avoid facing the Astros again, like he did countless times last season. The Astros play the A’s in seven of their first nine games to start the season.
Fiers was famed for being the whistleblower on the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal.
