The Houston Astros have agreed to a multi-year extension with their closer Ryan Pressly, according to multiple reports. The deal is for two-years and $30 million but also includes a vesting option that could bring the deal's worth to $42 million. Pressly came over to the Astros in a trade with the Minnesota Twins in 2018 and in the years since has become their full-time closer. In 2021 Pressly notched 26 saves for the Astros in 64 appearances while posting an ERA of 2.25.
