Matt Thomas and Ross Villarreal of The Matt Thomas Show celebrate the Texans' victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and the Rockets sixth consecutive win but are disappointed over the University of Houston's loss to the Cincinnati Bearcats.
After just a couple of hours from his introductory press conference, the Astros new manager Joe Espada joins the show to talk about the task of taking on this new position. "It's a dream come true," Espada said. Espada expresses his excitement to collaborate with the front office and details how he was able to learn so much from past managers, saying the greatest piece of advice was to "just be you" and "be authentic."
