Brian McTaggart, Astros beat reporter for MLB.com, joins The Matt Thomas Show from CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches in Florida to break down the first full-squad workout of the Astros spring training.
The Astros began the day with live batting practice. "The pitchers are going to be ahead of the hitters," McTaggart said.
Shortstop Jeremy Peña debuted a new batting stance, with McTaggart saying it was "very noticeable."
McTaggart also discusses the high expectations the Astros have heading into Opening Day. "I think they'll be right there" because "they're once again the team to beat."
