Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair Facing Possible Suspension Following Ejection

Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair delivered a late hit to Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence after Lawrence began a slide to end a run play in the second quarter of Sunday's game. Al-Shaair's violent blow to the head of the defenseless quarterback ignited a brawl as Lawrence left the field with a concussion. Al-Shaair, as well as Jaguars rookie cornerback Jarrian Jones, was ejected. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the NFL is reviewing the hit and that a suspension is expected for Al-Shaair, but the length of that suspension is yet to be determined.
