Astros Drop ALDS Game 3 in Tampa, Still Lead Series 2-1

The Astros jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Rays starter Charlie Morton, thanks to a solo homerun from Jose Altuve. However, Astros starter Zack Greinke would not have his best stuff, giving up homeruns to the Rays in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th innings. He would leave after just a 3 2/3 innings pitched, allowing six runs off five hits to go with five strikeouts.

Hector Rondon & Wade Miley would come on in relief, and the Rays jumped out to an 8-1 lead. The Astros would get two runs across in the 6th off a 2-RBI single from Yuli Gurriel, but the Rays would answer back with runs in the 6th & 7th innings to take a 10-3 lead.

Game 4 of the ALDS will be on Tuesday in Tamps, where the Astros will have a chance to end the series with a win. Listen to all of the action on your home for Astros baseball, SportsTalk790!
