According to a piece in the Pioneer Press in Minneapolis, the Houston Texans wanted former Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond in this year's NFL Draft, but the Minnesota Vikings beat them to it.
One pick later, the Texans settled for Stanford QB Davis Mills instead.
“It wasn’t supposed to be Mills,” Kevin Mond, father of Kellen Mond said. “It was going to be Kellen.”
