Source: Austin Reiter to visit Texans

Veteran free agent center Austin Reiter is scheduled to visit the Texans, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.

Reiter started every game last season for the Kansas City Chiefs.

A former Washington Football Team seventh-round draft pick from South Florida, Reiter, 29, recently visited the Cincinnati Bengals.

Reiter was the Chiefs' starting center in the past two Super Bowls, including a victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs signed Austin Blythe during free agency and drafted Oklahoma center Creed Humphrey in the second round.

An Arlington native, Reiter (6-foot-3, 301 pounds) has started 33 career games.
