The Texans hired Las Vegas Raiders running backs coach Tim Berbenich as their new tight ends coach, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
They have also hired offensive line coach George Warhop and assistant offensive line coach Hal Hunter Jr.
Berbenich, 42, overlapped with Texans offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton with the Indianapolis Colts. Berbenich was an offensive assistant and shared an office with Hamilton, He was later promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach.
Berbenich has also coached as an offensive assistant for the New York Jets, a quality control for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Berbenich was hired by former Raiders coach Jon Gruden in 2018.
He was promoted to running backs coach when Kirby Wilson retired.
