On Sunday morning, the Houston Astros optioned utility infielder Niko Goodrum to Triple-A Sugar Land and activated Mauricio Dubón, who they acquired via trade from the San Francisco Giants.
Goodrum played in 15 games with the Astros, making 43 plate appearances but produced only five hits with 23 strikeouts. He was batting .116 with one RBI and two walks on the season.
