The Houston Astros rode a red hot Justin Verlander for six dominant innings as he gave up one run off three hits with eleven strikeouts, before the offense woke up in the 6th with homeruns from Yuli Gurriel and Chas McCormick, before Jeremy Pena added a homerun in the 7th, and the Astros won Game 1, 4-2.
