After being ranked as the #1 and #2 teams in the country a week ago, both the Houston Cougars and Texas Longhorns saw their rankings drop following a week suffering a loss.
#1 Houston lost at home to Alabama on Saturday 71-65, knocking the Coogs out of college basketball's top spot, falling to #5 overall in the latest AP poll.
Meanwhile, #2 Texas fell in overtime to Illinois in the Jimmy V Classic 85-78, dropping them to #7 in this week's AP poll.
