Astros Crush the A's 10-1, Sweep the Series, Jose Abreu Homers

Your Houston Astros took out their frustrations on the Oakland A's on Sunday, beating them 10-1, hitting seven homeruns in the game. Yordan Alvarez hit two homeruns, while both Jose Abreu and Jose Altuve hit their first homeruns of the season. Jake Meyers and Chas McCormick also homered.

It was a joyful moment as Jose Abreu had close to 200 at-bats this season without a homer, finally broke through and crushed one to left field in the 8th inning. He sprinted around the bases at full speed, sliding into home, celebrating with his teammates.

Cristian Javier picked up his sixth win of the year. He is now 6-1 with a 2.97 ERA.

The Astros return home to host the Minnesota Twins on Memorial Day. Hear all the action on your home for Astros baseball, SportsTalk790!
